What I can say about this?
Recently, I made dinner for my grandmother in law. I gave him a dish he liked, and requested the recipe. It I gave it to her. The recipe is from my grandmother, and she wanted to take the family. It has always been very important to stay in the family. My husband told my brother and my grandmother was This particular recipe is a secret, and asked not to. She washes the dishes for the company, the other night and I called to ask how it happened. He said that everyone loved and wanted the recipe if printed on cards and handed it to them. I said nothing to her, but I do not feel respected. It might seem ridiculous to her, but this recipe has been in my family for years.
It seems she has not really taken into account their feelings when he gave the recipe. You should know that you do not appreciate their delivery, prescription because she knew she should be kept in the family, and ask him not to give more.
